"I started my HER coaching journey in August 2021. A manager’s position for my current employer was posted. Since I’ve been working for the agency 8 years, I was out of touch with the interviewing process. I knew I had the skills to do the job but, I lacked confidence in selling myself. I reached out to Ms. Connie and this was the best decision I've ever made. For 2 months I went through a career boot camp, Ms. Connie focused on Biblical principles and always prayed with me after our sessions, our faith is very important to both of us. During my coaching experience, I was stretched outside of my comfort zone and challenged to think and act like an executive. Ms. Connie gave me assignments to complete and we did mock interviews which helped me with my professional growth. I did not get the manager’s position, I got something better. A new position was created, and I interviewed and was selected. I have no doubt that my coaching experience with Ms. Connie prepared me for the interviews and my new position."
