As an Award-Winning Executive Woman of the Year in 2013, I learned that career advancement changes when you stop waiting to be noticed and start leading like an executive before the title. I’m also author of "Elect HER America" and "The CEO Method for HER".
Currently, with four (4) decades of combined expertise in public sector leadership and non-profit executive-leadership, I know what it takes to advance. I spent years stuck in early-career level roles—until an executive-level mentor helped me to shift into an executive-leader mindset before I acquired the title! This is why I help ambitious women professionals advance!
During my career, 
I created, designed, and led my team to implement a "Training-Work Internship for Single Mothers on public assistance" that was recognized as a semi-finalist by the Innovations in American Government, 
John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. I also managed a program that was awarded $16.5 million from the Texas Legislature to successfully implement a Healthy Marriage and Relationships Program for the state of Texas (House Bills 2683 and 2685). 
Empowering youth by creating and implementing youth development leadership programs in communities is a brilliant passion for me!
I am also a Certified Professional Life Coach. 
As a woman of color, I know all too well the unique challenges that we face in career advancement.
